STAGE I - PREPARATION
After extraction, the cork is sorted and boiled in the standard conditions and after stabilized is kept in a cold environment so there are no fungi development.
STAGE II - FABRICATION
After the cork stabilization and the humidity is at the standard levels it enters the fabrication area where its sliced, punched and rectified. We see for the first time the familiar form of the cork stopper.
STAGE III - FINISHINGS
Afterwards, stoppers are disinfected, washed and coated with natural polymers, with or without color, thus guaranteeing a greater resistance to permeability, obtaining a better sealing.
The stoppers can be marked with ink and / or fire and are subsequently subjected to a surface treatment so then they are ready to be used directly in the bottling line.
